Honors Student Organization
The Honors Student Organization (HSO) was founded in order to foster and utilize the intellectual and leadership qualities of students within the Honors community. Geared toward furthering the development of its members, the Honors Program is designed to provide a more stimulating environment for students like you! The Program has carefully chosen each one of you because you demonstrate superior academic achievement and the desire to succeed. If you are a natural leader, want to develop your character, or if you want to help improve your community, HSO is the organization.
HSO offers community service opportunities, leadership positions, academic lectures, and scholarship workshops. We are inviting you to join us in our quest for a bigger and brighter future. We welcome new and fresh ideas for revitalizing our campus and the community while encouraging students to maximize their potential. Students in HSO will connect with other scholars who also strive for academic and personal excellence.
Our mission is to promote academic excellence, foster a sense of community within the Honors Program, and cultivate social responsibility and a sense of service toward the surrounding community.
