Apply for the Honors Program

You may apply to the Honors Program if you are a:

• Freshman who has attained a 3.5 GPA in high school and who has scored at least a 1200 on the math and verbal section of the SAT I or 26 on the ACT.
• Transfer student who has attained a 3.3 GPA on at least 12 hours of credit from another accredited university.
• Current Georgia State student with a 3.3 GPA on at least 12 hours of credit.
• If you are a Presidential Scholar (or finalist) or a University Scholar, you are automatically accepted into the Honors Program upon completion of the Honors Program application.

You can download an application for the Honors Program using the link to the right. Upon receipt of the form, an interview will be scheduled with an Honors staff member. Typically, the admission decision is made at that time.
