Carol Winkler is the Associate Dean for the Humanities. Winkler, who has been at Georgia State since 1987, served as the chair of the Department of Communication for 12 years before coming to the Dean’s Office in 2006. She is a scholar of presidential foreign policy rhetoric, and the founder of a nationally-recognized project that brings debate to low-income middle-school students in Atlanta.
