Charles Derby is the Associate Dean for the Natural and Computational Sciences. Derby is a biologist who studies the chemical senses – smell and taste – in crustaceans. In addition to his work at Georgia State, Derby holds faculty appointments at the Morehouse School of Medicine and the Bermuda Biological Station for Research, Inc., and is a member of the National Science Foundations’ Center for Behavioral Neuroscience
