Working With Youth
Experience working with youth will be considered as a part of your application to an initial certification teacher preperation program.
Some opportunities you may consider range from tutoring a student after school and working at a summer camp to teaching music lessons or volunteering at an after-school program. As you spend time volunteering and working with youth you may begin to discover which age group and subject area(s) would suit you best to teach.
